CloserStill Group Ltd is an international trade show, conference, and event organizer with operations in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Spain, and Singapore.
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
CloserStill Group operates in many different countries and has a zero-tolerance policy toward slavery and human trafficking. The CloserStill Group upholds the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, both locally and internationally.
The Group is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Regardless of where in the world we hold our events, we ensure that we comply with local laws and regulations. We recognize that this is an ongoing and evolving obligation, and we need to update our processes with regard to ongoing risk assessments in each global territory where we operate.
This statement is in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes CloserStill Group’s statement on slavery and human trafficking for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
Organizational Structure
The Board of Directors, led by the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer, is based in the UK. As of December 31, 2025, the company had 871 employees, including sales, marketing, operations, and administrative staff, based in the following countries: United Kingdom 600, Germany 96, Spain 39, France 3, Singapore 40, and the United States 93.
The company is not involved in manufacturing and has strict employment policies; therefore, we believe the risk among our direct employees is low.
Supply Chain
The company organizes trade shows and conferences in the healthcare and technology sectors. Our major suppliers include the venues where the events are held, as well as the contractors who build exhibition booths, supply furniture and carpeting, and provide logistics and data registration services. Our major suppliers all have their own procedures and policies regarding anti-slavery and anti-trafficking, and we will continue to work with them to identify areas of risk further down the supply chain. We recognize that due diligence procedures involving smaller suppliers need to be reviewed.
Customers
Our customers range from large pharmaceutical manufacturers to suppliers of equipment for data centers and operators of nursing homes. While we believe that our customer base
Although the risk is generally very low, we are conducting a review of our processes to ensure we identify customers who are from high-risk areas and are enhancing our due diligence process to mitigate this risk. We are reviewing our terms and conditions of business with the aim of incorporating the expectation that the people we work with should adhere to the same standards we set for ourselves.
HR Policies
The company has strict HR policies and procedures, which include identity verification and right-to-work checks. The Group ensures that employees are paid fairly for their roles with a competitive compensation package. We regularly review and update our specific policies related to maintaining a high standard of employee conduct and our whistleblowing policy.
Risk Assessment and Management
Our overall assessment is that the CloserStill Group faces little risk related to its primary-tier suppliers and customers. A key focus for the group in the coming period will be to accelerate a program to implement enhanced policies and train management and staff in conducting relevant risk assessments and identifying situations where modern-day slavery may be a concern.
