The advent of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the medical field is leading to significant changes in patient care procedures, particularly in dermatology, where visual examination of the skin is a key component of diagnosis. In this presentation, I will demonstrate, based on a study analyzing more than 35,000 medical records, how skin cancer screening is already benefiting from these new technologies, leading to the consideration of their use in numerous interactions between practitioners, medical and paramedical staff, and patients.
