With a presence throughout the Île-de-France region, the ACPPAV (Association of Professional Pharmacy Schools of the Versailles Academy) is a training school for careers in pharmacy. Founded in 1965 by visionary pharmacists at a time when qualifications in the field were limited to the CAP (Certificate of Professional Competence) in pharmacy preparation, the school has grown significantly since then: following the Brevet Professionnel (BP), the program evolved into a university degree, the DEUST in Pharmacy Technician, and the school expanded its scope to include the fields of health, sanitation, and medical-social services. Today, it trains no fewer than 800 trainees and welcomes 1,200 work-study students each year at its campuses in Juvisy (91), Poissy (78), and its branch in Meaux (77)!

The DEUST in Pharmacy Technician is now a two-year post-secondary degree designed to train professionals capable of assisting pharmacists in their daily activities. Pharmacy technicians play a crucial role in inventory management, filling prescriptions, and assisting patients. Their expertise ensures the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical services. This training is essential to meet the growing needs of the pharmaceutical profession in terms of skills and qualifications.

This program is also accessible through the Professional Sales Advisor certification, which the school has tailored specifically to the pharmacy sector.

Finally, to round out the training program, the ACPPAV also offers a specialization: the CQP (Certificate of Professional Qualification) in Pharmaceutical Dermocosmetics. This professional training program aims to specialize pharmacists and their staff in the field of dermo-cosmetics by deepening their knowledge of the skin, skin conditions, appropriate products, and their applications. It also helps develop specific skills in advising customers and managing dermo-cosmetic product lines.
