PharmagoraPlus 2026 Press Release

PharmagoraPlus 2026 Press Release

On March 14 and 15, 2026, PharmagoraPlus reaffirmed its status as the premier gathering for the retail pharmacy sector. Over two days, the event brought together the entire retail pharmacy ecosystem to share experiences, deepen knowledge, and analyze industry trends. This 39th edition stood out for its success, both among visitors and exhibitors.

In the months leading up to PharmagoraPlus 2026, the pharmaceutical industry operated in a particularly tense environment, marked by protests over declining rebates on generic drugs, as well as persistent structural challenges such as pharmaceutical deserts. These tensions, exacerbated by economic and regulatory uncertainties, have underscored more than ever the need for dialogue and support for the profession.

It was in this context that PharmagoraPlus 2026 fully fulfilled its role as a platform for networking and exchange within the profession.

In an effort to attract a more targeted audience, PharmagoraPlus has decided to tighten its registration and admission criteria for the trade show, a decision made in consultation with exhibitors. In this context, attendance reached over 8,200 visitors and more than 12,700 participants, a level stable compared to 2025, reflecting continued interest in this annual event. This momentum is accompanied by a shift in visitor demographics, with a 6% increase in the number of licensed pharmacists, despite the holding of the first round of municipal elections. It confirms the trade show’s standing among industry decision-makers and underscores the success and dynamism of this edition.

In response to the current challenges and issues facing the profession, PharmagoraPlus has redoubled its efforts in developing its program to provide concrete answers, support, and tailored solutions. Sessions such as “Pharmacy 2040: The Reinvented Business Model” and “New Roles: How to Make Them Profitable” were particularly notable at this year’s event, each drawing more than 200 participants. They demonstrate the strong commitment of pharmacists, united around the profession’s challenges with a clear determination to look toward the future and anticipate its changes.

This edition also marked a new milestone in the trade show’s development, with exhibition space increasing by 20% (for a total of 20,000 square meters), allowing it to host a growing number of major market players. In total, 385 exhibitors (+47 compared to 2025), including major groups and laboratories, were present to support pharmacists in their professional development.

The awards ceremonies were a highlight of this year’s event. The Innovation Award and the Pharmacy Awards recognized winners from across the country, highlighting their dynamism, talent, and dedication.

The event also generated significant media buzz, with hundreds of mentions on social media and a strong response from the industry, both during and after the show. This enthusiasm, which was particularly appreciated by the teams, helped extend the show’s atmosphere beyond those two days.

Finally, exhibitors’ confidence is already evident: many of them have confirmed their participation for the 2027 edition, underscoring the event’s value for business and networking. Furthermore, 75% of the exhibition space has already been reserved for 2027, pointing to a major event on the horizon.

The entire team would like to extend a warm thank you to all visitors, exhibitors, and partners for their participation and dedication, which greatly contributed to the success of the 2026 event.

“We are particularly pleased with the significant increase in participation by licensed and assistant pharmacists at this 2026 event, despite the municipal elections taking place on Sunday. This success is a powerful testament to the commitment and dynamism of pharmacists, as well as their entire ecosystem, all of whom are fully engaged in building the future of the profession. Finally, this year’s event once again highlighted the human dimension of the profession, particularly through a program dedicated to mental health, which is at the heart of current concerns.” Adrien Collilieux, Director of PharmagoraPlus .

Building on this momentum, PharmagoraPlus will continue to grow in 2027 with the goal of offering an event that is even more comprehensive, innovative, and in tune with the industry’s expectations.

Join us on March 13 and 14, 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles to celebrate PharmagoraPlus’s 40th anniversary—an event that is already shaping up to be an unprecedented anniversary edition.
